Motor Insurance refers to the Insurance of vehicles against Accidental Damage, Fire, Theft or Injury incurred in the course of using any mechanically propelled vehicle on the public highway, including the use of motorcycles, motor vehicles, forklifts and special vehicles.
Motor Policies could be arranged either on a Comprehensive, Third Party, and Fire & Theft or on Third Party Only basis. We normally advise that the Comprehensive or Third Party Fire & Theft policy be extended to cover Riots, Strike and Civil Commotion, and other convulsions of nature on payment of additional premium, which normally is 0.25% of the value of the vehicle(s).
